Songbirds Apprenticeship Scheme  

At Songbirds we offer Apprenticeship programmes, which give our local school leavers

a chance to learn and gain experience in a professional and supportive

environment and go on to have a successful career in Early Years.

The apprenticeships are funded through Lifetime Training.

Each new learner is coached by a fully qualified tutor throughout their programme,

whilst creating an individual learning path ensuring each learner is taught as a unique individual.

As well as having the advantage of being supported by our very own in-house

Employee Mentor who meets with our learners once per week to offer extra support and guidance.

Over the past 2 years Songbirds has given 7 young people the opportunity to

progress in an apprenticeship in Level 3 Early Years Educator.

5 of these are now fully qualified practitioners and have been retained

at Songbirds to work as part of our ever growing strong team.

The remaining 2 are our newest learners and will qualify in November 2025.
